Matthew is the founder and CEO of Oasis Capital Ghana Limited. He has several years’ investment banking experience, nine of which have been spent in the private equity and growth capital industry. He leads the team on strategy, negotiations, fund raising, investor relations and support.
Prior to Oasis, Matthew was a board member of GroFin Ghana Limited as well as the Country General Manager. He was also a member of the Investment Committee of GroFin Africa Fund, a Mauritius based Pan-Africa SME fund, where he appraised transactions from Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. Before that he was an Investment Manager with Fidelity Capital Partners Limited, a Ghanaian private equity firm. He spent over 9 years with Fidelity Group working with the Group’s credit, corporate finance and private equity practice.
He is a familiar presence in the small business development universe in Ghana, having given lectures on SMEs in various universities and colleges. He currently serves on the boards of Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited, Goldkey Properties Limited and The Akua Kuenyehia Foundation. He is also, the chairman of Asterix Brokers Limited, an insurance brokerage firm he founded in 2007 that provides insurance broking services to SMEs in Ghana.
Matthew holds a BSc degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana and an MBA from the Leicester Business School, De Montfort University, UK
Mr. Joseph Boakye Yiadom is a businessman with significant experience in finance and manufacturing. He provides invaluable support in Operations, Investment Process management and business development services to Investee Companies.Joseph started his career in 1999 with Mel consulting Limited as a Consultant, providing business development and financial management solutions to SME clients. Subsequently, he served as the Finance Manager of ENO International from January to October, 2000.
He moved to Massilly Group (a French packaging Conglomerate) as Finance Manager in October, 2000, where he rose through the ranks to become the Managing Director of the Ghana Operations from January, 2005 to March, 2013 when he resigned to join Oasis Capital.
He joined Oasis Capital as a Partner in April, 2013. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana and MBA from Wisconsin International University. Joseph speaks English and French fluently.
George oversees the finance and accounting functions of Oasis Capital Limited. He is responsible for statutory and investor reporting, tax planning, portfolio valuation and routine fund management activities such as capital calls, quarterly reporting, compliance and distributions. George also provides support to our investment team in due diligence review and investee companies’ financial reporting.
Prior to joining Oasis Capital Ghana, George worked with Parnell Kerr Foster (PKF) where he played a key role in various audit assignments for public and private institutions in Ghana. George previously worked as Finance Manager of Kapital Link Financial Services, a Kumasi based microfinance institution and First Plus Mortgage Limited, a UK based mortgage financier as an Assistant Financial Manager where he was in charge of accounting and tax reporting.
George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and an MBA (Finance) from University of Leicester, UK. He is a chartered accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Richard is a senior dealmaker at Oasis, and is responsible for sourcing and structuring transactions and continuous portfolio management. He also provides business development services to investee companies.
Prior to joining Oasis, he was a Senior Investment Officer at Black Stars Advisors Ltd (Fund Managers for Activity Venture Capital) and a Senior Investment Analyst at Madison Street Capital, LLC. Richard is a detailed-oriented finance professional with hands-on experience in private equity, business valuation, and corporate finance. In addition, he has worked on several projects in North America and Africa, and has considerable consulting experience.
Richard holds a BSc in Geological Engineering and an MBA (Banking & Finance), both from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He joined Oasis in April 2012.
Grace is a senior dealmaker at Oasis, playing a key role in deal sourcing, investment appraisal and business development support for investee companies.
Prior to Oasis she was an Equities Electronic Trading Associate for Lehman Brothers and Nomura International in London, and an Equity Research Analyst for Lehman in New York. She has also worked as an Investment Analyst with Wambia Capital in Washington DC, and as a consultant with small businesses in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Grace holds a BA Economics from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, and an MBA (Finance Concentration) from the Darden School of Business (University of Virginia). She has also passed Level I of the CFA examination. She joined Oasis in October 2012.
Yaw holds a Bachelor of Science degreein business management from Ashesi University

Nancy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting from Brunel University West London, is a chartered accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Kwabena is an Investment Officer and is responsible for investment appraisal, client relationships, business advisory services to investee companies as well as helping manage the Oasis portfolio.
Prior to Oasis, he served as an officer of the National Audit Office in the United Kingdom and has also been in managerial positions at Cosmopolitan Mechanical Company Limited, Benkasa Company Limited, and Hawks Solutzions Company Limited, all in Ghana, where he contributed immensely to their development and success.
Kwabena holds a first degree in Finance and Banking from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Ghana.
Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration ( Specializing in Accounting) from the University of Ghana, Accra. He is a chartered accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Ms. Nketia Yeboah serves as Operations Officer at Oasis Capital Ghana. She supports the team in sourcing, structuring, and monitoring portfolio investments. Gifty Nketia-Yeboah also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi and has previously worked with Injaro Investments and Black Star Advisors.
Prior to joining Oasis, Pamela worked at Live Fm as a Program Producer and Echohouse Ghana Limited as an Administrative Officer.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Professional Studies, Accra and is a student at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG)
